Around 10 hours on skin, and longer on clothes. Pocket perfume capsules hold Parfum concentration oil rather than an alcohol spray. Alcohol evaporates and takes the scent with it. Oil sits on the surface and releases slowly, which is why fabric holds it well past the skin.
One capsule is one opening, enough to cover two or three pulse points in a single wear. It stays sealed until you snap it and is meant to be used in full at that moment, which is why a box carries 25. Nothing to re-cap, nothing to carry back.
Pocket perfume means a fragrance small enough to carry on you all day, in a pocket, bag or wallet. In India the term usually means a 15 to 18ml spray bottle. The Mad Nose makes a different format: a sealed, single-use capsule of Parfum oil, with no bottle at all.
No. The capsule is sealed shut until you twist and snap it, so there is no nozzle, no cap and no glass to fail under pressure. This is the whole reason we built it. Decant bottles crack, rollerballs work themselves open, and sachets tear in a jeans pocket.
Sealed capsules keep for four years from the date on the box. Because each capsule stays sealed until the moment you use it, the fragrance inside does not degrade the way an opened bottle does once air reaches it. A half-used bottle on a shelf starts turning long before that.
They do different jobs. Deodorant controls sweat and odour. Perfume gives you a scent people notice. A pocket perfume capsule carries Parfum concentration and projects loud, which a deodorant is not built to do. Most people wear both, and a capsule is what you reach for at 4pm.
Not if you apply it the way it is meant to be applied. Put it on skin, not fabric: wrists, behind the ears, base of the throat, inner elbows. The oil absorbs within a minute. Trouble only starts when people dab straight onto a silk shirt or a light kurta, worth avoiding with any oil perfume.
